PCUP Caravan Hits 2k in DavOr

City of Mati- Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) Caravan of Services reached a record breaking 2500 beneficiaries including walk in clients were assisted last March 29 at the Davao Oriental State University (DORSU) Gymnasium.

PCUP Chairperson Alvin Feliciano said the caravan was initiated because President Rodrigo Duterte wanted that no one will be left behind in achieving progress.

DORSU Vice President for Research and Development Roy Ponce commend the sincere public service. In his speech he said, ” Wala moy makit an diri nga politiko kay tinud anay ni nga serbisyo.”

PCUP Area Coordinator for Davao Oriental Marilou A. Tarona said “This was made possible because of the strong partnership with DORSU, commitment of Barangay Dahican, and support of our volunteer together with the partners in local and national agencies and private groups.
PCUP Caravan is nationwide and happens every Friday to cater urban poor in Luzon, NCR, Visayas and Mindanao. To date, Mati’s turnout is the number to beat.
