Indie Film Highlights Ginoong Dabawenyo

Kapit sa Patalim director Lau Mira said that the movie is inspired from the story of a guy   tried his luck in Manila after joining a  male pageant.

Model turned actor Aldrico Padilla said that he is proud to be a Dabawenyo  and grateful for being part of this movie together with season actors like Mel Martinez and Melissa Mendez.

Both Melissa Mendez and Mel Martinez both agreed that Indie films allows them to explore and improve their craft as an actor. ” Sa Indie film hindi mo kailangan maging OA, ibang atake talaga compared sa TV and mainstream movie”, Mel adds.

Rated R13 by the MTRB, Kapit sa Patalim regular screening  is on June 19-25 at the Gaisono Mall of Davao
