It’s one of the longest running joke for my sister Mahal and her husband Jandie for bringing us in their honeymoon in Bangkok and Siem Reap.
This should be a romantic moment for them as they became officially a couple. But no we barged in like we are entitled of something.
They were cool about it so why not?
The wedding happened September of last year we flew to Bangkok 1 day after that big event. If you want some details on her wedding, this one deserves full article for its bumps and cracks. So Relax.

Back to their honeymoon, Jandie also brought her mom and her sister in law Joy and Joy alsonhad her plus one, her sister. Truly, it was a family affair.
We booked the airline ticket and hotels online because promos and discounts are so much more available.

Memorable trip was at Nong Nooch Garden, a very famous garden which later became the venue for Miss Universe 2018.
Nong Nooch Garden is in Pattaya wherein it took us 2 hours travel by a private we hired at the Nasa Vegas Hotel we checked in .
The garden was impressive. But my favorite part was the Dinosaur Park, life size dinasaur statues were displayed back up with sound effects. The garden also included Elephant and Cultural show. Each of us paid 800 THB for the show and the garden tour. You can also try their elephant ride if you are tired to walk thsi cost 500THB.
Part of the Pattaya tour we booked at the hotel was to visit at the Big Buddha and The Pattaya Beach the whole trip we paid the tour 4000 THB . If your curious about the red light district. Nope we never had the chance we need to go back to our hotel.

The other trip we did was a visit to the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha the tour cost 500 THB. Reminder, you need to wear long pants or long skirt or else you cannot enter. Just follow the rule or you end up buying long pants at a higher cost outside the temple. We also went to Asiatique to have dinner and to have a little shopping. This van rental cost us 3000 THB.
Side trip was in Siem Reap, we tooked the Airasia flight from Bangkok that cost P2500.

We checked in at Hello Cambodia Boutique Hotel, people were very nice there, they even gave us scarves and as their complimentary gift to us. How thoughtful.
The hotel gave us an affordable tour in tutkuk going Angkor Wat each of us paid 2 USD they prefer USD over their currency.
True to its promise, Angkor Wat is magnificent. We recommend you to try this tour. Entrance fee cost 37USD at that time. No worries for us because it was so worth it.
Guards at the gate will recommend a tour guide, you can say no but we decided to have one for 20USD and his name is Tak. Good thing we agreed because he took so many great pictures for us and Angkor Wat is so big, you will get lost from being enchanted with tge place.

After the tour my mom and I already called it a day but my sisters and the rest of the company went to the Night Market.
Their night market offers food, entertainment and shopping experience. You can get a massage for 2 USD after being tired of your whole day activity.
We talked to one of the locals in the area, Long Philly , night market was previously a school when tourists started to come they transfered the school and converted the place of what it is today.
My mom and I just enjoyed watching the moon at the rooftop of Hello Cambodia. Moon looks bigger in this side of the Earth you know.
Since our hotel has a pool we decided to have an early morning dip the next day.
Reminder the weather is really hot in Cambodia be ready with your water. Hydration should be your top priority. No wonder reidential houses have pool.
From the heavy rains in Bangkok to the scorching heat of Siem Reap we were all in this together. The experience was ours to endure. It was not a walk in the park I tell you but it was all worth it.
What do you think of my article ? Share me your experiences in these places.
Till my next writing adventure!!!
