DOSCST New Take on Leadership

CITY OF MATI – Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology (DOSCST) student leaders organizes Leadership Seminar last August 21 at Botona Beach Resort.

City Vice Mayor Glenda Rabat Gayta was the the keynote speaker of the 45 partcipating student leaders.

She discussed the 5 Levels of Leadership by John C Maxwell and Leadership Perspective from the book Stupid is Forever by Senator  Miriam Defensor Santiago

“There is a big difference between a boss and a leader we should asked  ourselves are we a boss or a leader ? ,” Vice Mayor said during the seminar.

Meanwhile, Honorio Mariano of Barangay Affairs Coordinating Unit (BACU) headed the group dynamics for the students to participate.

Supreme Student Government President Jose Buot thank City Vice Mayor’s Office ( CVMO), Barangay Affairs Coordinating Unit ( BACU) and The Green Communities for supporting their activity and hoped that this will be a start of a stronger partnership between the LGU and their institution.
